Back to HomeOur Methodology
How Each Engagement Unfolds
Our engagements follow a consistent structure, adapted to the particular service and client situation. The structure exists not for our convenience but because it produces more reliable findings: scope is defined before work begins, research precedes conclusions, and written output is shared before the engagement closes.
Each phase is given the time it requires. We do not compress the research phase to meet a timeline that would compromise the quality of what we find.
Exploratory Conversation
We discuss your situation, the service you are considering, and whether our approach seems like a reasonable fit. No commitment required at this stage.
Scope Agreement
We outline a proposed scope and timeline in writing. Both parties agree before any billable work begins. Additional costs are identified and agreed at this stage.
Research and Review
Desk research, document review, and stakeholder discussions are conducted. This phase takes the time it requires — we do not rush findings to meet arbitrary deadlines.
Written Report Delivery
A substantive written report is shared with the client. Where appropriate, we schedule a discussion session to walk through the findings and address questions.
